How long is the EKG Technician program?

The program runs 8 weeks and covers 100 total clock hours: 40 hours of online lecture, 40 hours of in-house lab, and a 20-hour clinical externship.

When do classes meet?

It's a hybrid format. Lecture and concept work happen online through interactive learning dashboards on your own schedule, while the in-person labs meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:30 PM for the full 8-week cycle. That's 2.5 hours per lab day, 5 hours per week.

How much is tuition and what does it cover?

Tuition is $1,750 per student, all-inclusive. That covers all 100 lecture, lab, and externship hours, your VitalSource textbook and Evolve platform licenses, all testing software and study tracking tools, and the NHA national exam fee.

What certification will I earn?

The program prepares you for the NHA Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam, a nationally recognized credential. Your exam registration voucher is included with tuition, so there's no separate fee to sit for the test.

What books and materials do I need?

Everything is included when you register. You get ECGs Made Easy, 7th Edition (Elsevier) as a digital textbook via VitalSource, the Evolve companion platform with case studies and animations, the NHA CET exam voucher, and the NHA Practice Bundle of mock exams and adaptive study guides.

Do I need prior medical experience to enroll?
